Courage Is fear that has said its prayers

Up
its quiet dark night
no peace of mind
hanging by a thread
spiraling down
stomach churns
mind boggles
tears sting
the sky is bare
but no moon
daylight peeks
yet no sunlight
scared
am I failing?

@Kafo-often due to human nature we say prayers and still stutter but that we have the courage to say the prayer in the first place is courageous enough despite the fear that seizes us! So to me that is fear that has said its prayers because eventually it does start believing and ridding itself of the fear that once terrorized it

I like the finality of the line "courage is fear that has said its prayers". It's like realizing that it's time to let go and as soon as those words leave your lips...there is a release...and then it's all gone. Atleast for that moment.
